On April 16, 2009, at 1:16 am Kim watched Art, her 44-year-old husband, take his last breath .

As she emerged from the intense grief Kim realized that most people (including her before her husband’s cancer and death) do no know what to do or to say and out of fear of saying or doing the wrong thing, did nothing at all, which, tis was even more painful than doing the wrong thing. Kim wanted to help friends, co-workers and family members understand how easy it is to help and how meaning each action was.

100 Acts of Love is an artfully designed, easy-to-read book that offers 100 unique, simple and inspired actions a reader can take to support their friends going through cancer, loss or any crisis!  The book was written to inspire readers to understand how important they are in the lives of a friend, co-worker, family member or acquaintance who has cancer and the simple power in committing an act of Love. The book will remind you how much you matter to your friend because of who you are.
